The Eye of Horus:
The eye is divided into 6 fractional segments. Each segment represents one of 6 senses: Sight, Hearing, Touch, Taste, Smell, and Thought. If you want to know more check out Eye of Horus in Wikipedia.
The goddess Maat was the Egyptian symbol of truth and justice; law and order. She holds a scepter in one hand and in the other, the ankh (the symbol of eternal life). The ostrich feather in her hair symbolizes truth. Egyptians believed that when a person died, his or her heart was weighed against the feather of Maat. If the scales balanced, the individual had a good heart and enjoyed a happy after-life.
